Establishment of Core Needle Biopsy to Clarify Suspected Malignancy Tumors in the Head and Neck – First Results and Experiences

Intro. Although core needle biopsy (CNB) is an excellent diagnostic method f. suspicious tumors (T) of salivary glands and lymph nodes in the head and neck area (HNA), it is not established across the board in ENT clinics. The study evaluates results and experiences 20 months after introduction at a large ENT clinic.
