摘要

ERCP is the standard treatment for biliary tract diseases, but difficult or failed cannulation does exist. EUS-guided rendezvous technique (EUS-RV) is now established as a treatment option after failed ERCP, but there are some hurdles: bile duct puncture, guidewire (GW) passage through the ampulla, and biliary cannulation utilizing GW introduced under EUS guidance. Herein, we retrospectively evaluated the rate of difficult and failed ERCP and effectiveness of biliary cannulation technique after EUS-RV in an academic center.
