Energy-Efficient Multimedia Services with UAV-BS Intelligent Trajectory Planning for Emergency Communications in 6G Networks.

In post-disaster scenarios, we often need to use multimedia to assist emergency communication, which brings a large amount of data and easily causes hot spots. This paper studies the problem of aerial base station assisted emergency communication, optimizes the UAV trajectory and user connectivity with the goal of maximizing the energy efficiency(EE), full coverage for hot spots, meeting the QoS of hot spots. We decompose the problem into multiple sub-problems and solve it step by step. The optimized problem is NP-hard and has Markov property, so can be solved by reinforcement learning algorithm. Q-learning is an off-policy algorithm and well used. Simulation results shows that our method realize full coverage and increase EE by 92.93% compared with PSO and 53.45% compared with GA.
