Editorial: Sliding-mode algorithms for state estimation and fault diagnosis

The purpose of this Special Issue on "Sliding-mode algorithms for state estimation and fault diagnosis" is to present a collection of articles showing novel developments and results in the theory and practice of sliding-mode algorithms for state estimation and fault diagnosis. This collection also includes some advanced and non-standard methods to deal with the fault-tolerant control problem.
