(de) voiceing of gender identities in access and permanence in higher education: bibliometric analysis of research published in journals in the last decade

This work aims to analyze how academic production in Brazil is characterized in terms of public policies for access and permanence of transvestites and transsexuals in national higher education. The Theoretical Foundation, mobilized in the treatment of data, is housed in the interface between applied studies of language and human rights, based on the assumption that both strands of knowledge present a satisfactory investigative framework for the proposal outlined here. The methodology is documentary and bibliometric in nature, having been developed through the CAPES Periodicals Portal, by adopting the time frame established between 2012 and 2022. The results reveal that the aforementioned theme is still quite incipient with the mapped academic productions, which reaffirms the importance of discussing this more deeply, given the demands of an emerging society.
