摘要
•A novel Bi2O3/CdMoO4 composite is synthesized using a solvothermal-heating method.•The Bi2O3/CdMoO4 composite exhibits superior photocatalytic performance for N2 fixation.•The optimized Bi2O3/CdMoO4 composite generates NH3 3.6 times faster than pure CdMoO4 under simulated sunlight.•The Bi2O3/CdMoO4 composite exhibits excellent photoactivity in tetracycline degradation.•The coupling effect of Bi2O3 and CdMoO4 improves charge separation via a S-scheme mechanism.
