摘要

•A new self-centering precast segmental concrete HSR bridge column is proposed.•UHPC, large-diameter deformed bars, and inter-locking multi-hoops are adopted.•A quasi-static test is to study prefabrication feasibility and seismic behavior.•UHPC-filled duct connections can cause strain amplification of ED bars at joints.•The bridge columns can control residual drift in an allowable range before failure.
