High-strength Nacre-Like Composite Films Based on Pre-Polymerised Polydopamine and Polyethyleneimine Cross-Linked MXene Layers Via Multi-Bonding Interactions.

The synergic effect of multi-bonding interactions (including hydrogen bonding, covalent bonding and electrostatic interactions) are achieved by pre-polymerised polydopamine and polyethyleneimine cross-linked MXene layers (p-DEM).The resulting MXene composite films exhibit good electrical conductivity, mechanical strength, and energy storage capability. Given these superior attributes, the flexible supercapacitor devices based on these films demonstrate stable energy storage performances under different bending tests.
