摘要
Fuel cells are new energy technologies with broad application prospects. Carbon-supported platinum-based catalysts (Pt/C) are the most commonly used fuel cell electrode catalysts, but Pt/C has poor stability and high cost, which severely limits the large-scale application of fuel cells. Diamond and covalent carbides (silicon carbide and boron carbide) have excellent physicochemical stability and become important basic materials for the preparation of highly stable and low-cost fuel cell catalysts due to their strong covalent bonds. This paper introduces the unique advantages of diamond, silicon carbide, and boron carbide as electrocatalysts and summarizes the related research results.
