Artificial intelligence models for pre-travel consultation and advice: yea or nay?

We assessed the accuracy of advice provided by ChatGPT for pre-travel counselling. ChatGPT appears to be complementary to the physical pre-travel consultation, giving appropriate advice and raising awareness. However, the advice lacked specificity, and travel physicians can help to fine-tune the advice provided to an individual's specific travel needs.
