By imitating the motion of the inchworm, an inchworm-like soft robot is designed, which is composed of two grid drivers, a three-chamber driver and two suckers, and can perform various movements such as creeping, jogging, turning, and transition; The soft robot can crawl at a speed of 1.5cm/s on the horizontal plane, jog and crawl at a speed of 2.5cm/s, and turn and transition between different planes.
