Manifestations of the Structure of Wave Functions of the 16O(g. s.; 3-, 6.13 MeV) Nucleus in the Reactions 16O(, )16O and 15N(, t)16O

The structure of the wave functions for the O-16(g. s.; 3(-)) nucleus is studied by employing experimental angular distributions of the differential cross sections for the reactions O-16(alpha, alpha)O-16(g. s.; 3(-)) and N-15(alpha, t)O-16(g. s.; 3(-)) at E-alpha = 30.3 MeV. The present analysis is carried out by the coupled-channel method with allowance for direct mechanisms (proton stripping and transfer of a C-12 heavy cluster) and on the basis of the compound-nucleus model. Each of the mechanisms under consideration is associated with a specific configuration of the wave function for the O-16 nucleus and is found to make a significant contribution to the B experimental cross section.
