Beamline and vacuum system design of HEBT for the A-FNS accelerator

•Dogleg type beam transport line design for preventing the contamination of the superconducting linac system from the free surface liquid metal target system.•Moderate pressure gradient design to establish a vacuum system for satisfying the different required pressure.•Quantitative estimation of the reduction of the contamination for the newly designed dogleg beam line.
