摘要
Psychological resilience has been defined as the capability for effective coping and adaptation in the face of adversity. Previous research suggests that resilience may play a protective role in the prevention of mood disorders. Interventions proactively promoting resilience therefore have the potential to be implemented early in life to prevent the onset of psychiatric disorders. The primary objective of this study was to assess the effect of a novel mindfulness-based intervention—Training for Awareness, Resilience, and Action (TARA)—on resilience in a cohort of healthy adolescents. In addition, we hypothesized that resilience would be negatively correlated with depression scores at baseline.
