Assessing psychotic-spectrum experiences in children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youth: key concepts and novel data

Early intervention can improve the outcomes of youth who develop psychotic disorders but is reliant on early and accurate detection of psychosis and psychosis risk in children, adolescents, and transitional-aged youth. This task is complicated by developmental, cognitive, linguistic, and environmental factors. This Symposium will review important issues and advances in assessing psychotic symptoms and psychosis risk in this age group.
