摘要
A buck-boost converter is used chiefly for PFC purposes in power electronics converter systems because the voltage regulation in a PFC converter can easily be made using a buck-boost converter. In this paper, using the differential equations of a buck-boost converter, an already obtained feed-forward control method is extended into the predictive control method. The purpose of compensating a predictive control is to tackle white noise interference better by improving the technique of the PWM generation process in a way that the PWM signals are generated at once for each half cycle for the unity power factor. An interleaved case of two buck-boost converters is considered for this study. Implementing the predictive control into feed-forward control significantly increases the system's power factor by reducing the total harmonic distortion, even in terms of noise interfering with the feedback signals. The system achieves high efficiency by using interleaved connected low voltage-rated MOSFETs. The validation of our scheme is performed with the help of using MATLAB/Simulink.
