A Trade-off Method for a Joint Land Combat Equipment Scale System

Joint operations are the key to winning future wars, and although all countries are exploring ways of joint operations, there has been less research into the scale of equipment systems for combat. In this thesis, through the trade-off of the scale of the equipment system in joint land operations, the study of weapon system combination selection for large-scale complex systems based on intelligent algorithms. Firstly, we analyse from an algorithmic point of view and select the differential evolutionary algorithm as the main approach to solve the problem, complemented by the TOPSIS method to perform the weapon system allocation operation within the combination. A combination selection optimisation algorithm based on DE-TOPSIS is then developed, which provides a practical as well as effective approach to the trade-offs in the size system of land-based joint combat equipment.
