摘要

•A novel binuclear Ir complex was synthesized.•Its optical, thermal, electrochemical properties and luminescent mechanism were studied.•This Ir complex-based PLEDs were fabricated by using solution-processed technique.•The PLEDs show yellow electroluminescence with 8.44% of the maximum EQE.
