Radical‐Induced C−H Direct Activation of Quinoxaline Via Visible Light Photoredox‐Catalyzed

摘要
The photocatalytic C(sp2)-H functionalization of quinoxaline derivatives using potassium iodide as photoredox-mediators has been described. The lower price of potassium iodide compared to standard photocatalysts, readily available substrates, and environmental solvent constitute make this method cost-effective and interesting. A catalytic amount of KI is applied to the direct activation of C-H bonds for the construction of heterocyclic compound. This system has simple operation, the characteristics of easy to obtain raw materials, high yield and excellent substrate adaptability provide a new method for the synthesis of C2 substituent quinoxalines.
