Preliminary Optimum Design of Process Parameters of Transient Liquid Phase Welding

Transient liquid phase welding process is usually used to prepare vacuum envelope of travelling wave tube with periodic permanent magnet focusing. In the paper, the preliminary optimum design of process parameters of transient liquid phase welding was performed. The key process parameters, which include soaking temperature, soaking time, and working pressure, were studied. Element maps across welding interface were analyzed in order to assess quality of the prepared joints.
