摘要
This paper proposes a high torque density dualstator brushless direct current (BLDC). The BLDC motors are known for their high torque capacity and power density characteristics, and therefore, they are used in many applications. The proposed two-phase BLDC motor has two stators, and each stator is excited by only one phase. The duty cycle of inverter switches is complete and coils are continuously excited. Due to the full and uninterrupted use of the all coils and core, this motor has a higher torque density compared to other BLDC motors. After extracting the mathematical model of the motor, it is designed and its performance is analyzed using finite element method.
