Discrete Resonant Controller based Current Harmonics Suppression for Dual Three-Phase Linear Induction Motor

In the electromagnetic propulsion system, the stator current harmonics of linear induction motor will worse control performance and increase loss. Wide range and fast change of frequency make it more difficult to suppress them. This paper proposes a discrete resonant controller based current harmonic suppression strategy. Through the pole correction and phase compensation, the problem of resonance point offset and phase lag caused by discretization and system delay is effectively solved, and the 5th and 7th current harmonics with frequency variation are greatly reduced without increasing the controller bandwidth. The hardware-in-the-loop experiments proved the feasibility and validity of the proposed controller.
