摘要
In this study, an electropolymerized layer of methyl orange (MO) covered carbon paste electrode (CPE) was constructed for the analysis of rutin (RN). The cyclic voltammetric (CV) technique was used to determine the electrochemical activity of RN in phosphate buffer solution (PBS) at pH 6.5 on the surface of a poly(methyl orange) coated carbon paste electrode (Poly(MO)CCPE). Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and CV methodologies were utilized to investigate the surface morphology and surface characteristics of the developed electrochemical sensor materials. Corresponded to the bare carbon paste electrode (BCPE), the Poly(MO)CCPE delivers clearly established and responsive RN electrochemical redox peaks based on an adsorption reaction approach. The computed detection limit (DL) and quantification limit (QL) are determined to be 0.0272 µM and 0.0906 µM, respectively. The activated electrochemical sensor offers strong linear relation among the concentrations, and the corresponding oxidation peak currents of RN range from 1.0 to 19.0 µM. Increased electrocatalytic capacity is seen on the Poly(MO) activated electrode, together with strong stability, repeatability, and reproducibility. The Poly(MO)CCPE was then used to notice RN in a pharmaceutical sample, with an excellent recoveries range between 94.20 and 104.7
