Emotion Granularity Symmetry in Romantic Relationships

This study explores how granularity in perceiving romantic partners' emotions and emotion granularity symmetry affect perceived partner responsiveness (PPR). We predict that there will be a positive relationship between granularity perception and PPR, and a similar pattern for granularity symmetry. We will use a relational situation task to assess both sides of the dyad's granularity perceptions of emotions.
