We present the results of our investigations of molecular beam epitaxial growth of low-density quantum dots emitting in the telecommunication wavelength range (1.3 - 1.55 mu m) based on InAs/InP and GaSb/GaAs materials systems. Our ultimate goal is to demonstrate single-photon emission from these quantum dots, using site-templating approach. (c) 2022 The Authors
