摘要
The demand for high-energy-density and high-safety energy storage devices has inspired increased interest in all-solid-state lithium metal batteries (ASSLMBs). An outstanding inorganic solid-state electrolyte (ISE) is a fundamental requirement for ASSLMBs, and a well-performing ISE/Li interface is a key factor in achieving high-performance ASSLMBs. In this concept, we first summarize the dilemmas ISE/Li interfaces face and outline four strategies commonly used for ISE/Li interfacial modification. Then, we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the coatings being used as ISE/Li interfacial phases, as well as the commonly used thermal bonding and the new cold bonding methods used for in situ interface preparation. Finally, future directions for functionalizing ISE interfaces and achieving high-performance ASSLMBs are highlighted.
