Intelligent Hypervisor Placement for VSDN: Adapting to Fluctuating Traffic Scenarios.

Virtual Software-Defined Networking (VSDN) combines Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and virtualization to offer dynamic provisioning and resource optimization. The critical challenge lies in optimizing hypervisor placement to minimize network latency and ensure efficient resource utilization. In this paper, we present a novel model and dynamic algorithm for hypervisor placement in VSDN. Our approach intelligently assigns hypervisors, adapting to real-time traffic variations. Through simulations, we demonstrate superior performance with lower and stable response times, improving VSDN communication and overall network efficiency. Our algorithm provides consistent and reliable VSDN environments, even with fluctuating traffic scenarios.
