Research on Satellite QoS Routing Algorithm Based on Digital Twin

To solve the problem of frequent switching of satellite network links and severe load imbalance in the multilayer constellation scenario, which leads to the failure to guarantee the QoS (Quality of Service) of satellite communication, this paper proposes DTSR (Digital Twin based algorithm of Satellite network Routing). by collecting the information of real satellite network in real time, a switching prediction and congestion prediction model is established in the digital twin network for the inter-satellite link ISL, and the edges of the topology with communication risk are pruned and preprocessed, and then the improved ant colony algorithm is applied for routing solution. The simulation results show that the algorithm has significant advantages in packet loss rate, end-to-end delay, delay jitter, and network throughput compared with the shortest path algorithm Bellman-Ford, and LCRA algorithm.
