摘要
Radar is capable of providing essential distance information for targets. While noise interference is typically present in most indoor or outdoor scenes which makes the target in the range spectrum not obvious or even submerged. In this work, a multi-chirps convolution technique which can improve signal to average noise ratio (SANR) by 14.02dB on average with only two chirps through experiments is proposed based on a 60GHz frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) radar. The multi-chirps convolution technique (MCCT) can suppress irrelevant noise spectrum and enhances the same frequency signals in the spectrum which is related to target distance information. A series of experiments are carried out in real indoor environment to validate the proposed technique. The experimental results demonstrate that the multi-chirps convolution technique can accurately detect the distance of target and effectively improve SANR.
