Isolation Analysis between Microwave Power Transmitting Array and Pilot Signal Receiving Array

摘要
In retro-directive microwave power transmission (MPT) systems, background noise imposed by the power transmitting array on the pilot receiving array decreases pilot reception single-noise-ratio (SNR). Isolation between the two arrays should be guaranteed to obtain accurate direction of arrival (DOA) of the pilot. The isolation requirement analysis method is proposed and specific cases is investigated in this paper. This work helps to define an appropriate MPT system design.
