Implementation of a point target simulator for better estimating parameter offsets in airborne sar and insar processing

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a coherent radar tech system used in a wide range of applications. The UMass Point Target Simulator (UMass-PTS) can help identify such scenarios and provide simulated data, and evaluate the quality and performance of the simulations. The UMass-PTS under squinted geometries is evaluated, as well as evaluating the performance and quality of data. The results show that the UMass-PTS is capable of generating a large number of simulations under a variety of simulated scenarios.
