摘要
This paper analyzes the impact of different levels of penetration of domestic photovoltaic (PV) systems with varying battery storage sizes on the low-voltage distribution network. The study uses data gathered from smart metering systems at customers and models the performance of PV systems based on historical meteorological data. The research takes place in the context of the European Union's projected scenarios for renewable energy deployment by 2030 and the current growth of domestic PV systems. The findings are crucial for policymakers, utility companies, and homeowners interested in installing PV systems. By providing data-backed insights, the study seeks to support informed decision-making about the deployment of PV systems. The research aims to contribute to the ongoing discussion surrounding the integration of renewable energy sources into the electricity grid. Overall, the paper seeks to identify optimal deployment strategies for reducing energy consumption and minimizing reliance on traditional energy sources.
