Investigation of Indoor Propagation of 150 GHz Band Wireless LAN Using 2-Branch MIMO

The dependence of the coverage of 150 GHz two-branch MIMO transmissions in a conference room on the number of Rx antennas and Rx antenna scanning angles was investigated. When the number of Rx antennas attached to user terminal was 2 and the scanning angle was $20^{\mathrm{o}}$ . the coverage of MIMO transmission ranged from 51 to 67% and increased to 94 % when the number of Rx antennas attached to user terminal was increased to 4. Furthermore, when 13 human body models were placed in a conference room, it was found that 92.3 % coverage could be achieved even with Rx antenna scanning angle of 20°by placing the Tx antenna in the center of the conference room and four Rx antennas.
