Invulnerability Evaluation and Optimization of Communication Topology for Microgrids under Distributed Control

摘要
Distributed control, as a more flexible and lowcost control strategy, is playing an increasingly critical role in areas such as microgrids, where the connectivity of communication network determines the convergence of control algorithms. Considering severe communication failures, losing connectivity of control networks will lead to poor performance of the control or even cause collapse of the microgrid. To this end, this paper designs a performance indicator to measure the network invulnerability and proposes a corresponding network topology optimization method using node importance based on hop count. The effectiveness of proposed method to significantly improve the network invulnerability against communication failures is verified based on a microgrid on MATLAB/Simulink.
