摘要
A wideband microstrip-fed end-fire antenna is proposed in this paper. The antenna is designed on the low-cost commercially viable FR4 substrate. The proposed antenna is electrically compact with dimensions, 2.1λ × 0.466 λ × 0.14 λ, the free space wavelength is calculated at 28GHz. The input impedance bandwidth is 46% with reasonably high pattern integrity across the operational bandwidth. A panel mountable two port pattern diversity system with low mutual coupling is also presented.
