Magneto-electric signal due to microwave heating in ferromagnetic/nonmagnetic bilayer system

The magnetic voltage due to the microwave heating effect in a CoFeB/W bilayer system has been investigated experimentally. We find that the contribution from the microwave heating effect is comparable to that from the heating due to the ferromagnetic resonance at the specific field direction. We also comfirm that the magnetic signal is caused by the entanglement between anomalous Nernst and inverse spin Hall effects. This result provides an important aspect in future energy hervesting devices based on spin.
