An Implementation Method for Asymmetric Transmission based on Spoof Surface Plasmon Polaritons*

摘要
In this letter, an implementation method for asymmetric transmission under different linear polarization conditions is proposed. Here, a three-layer sandwich structure is devised, with wire arrays as absorbers and a series of cutting metal wires as polarization rotators. The transmission wave has different transmittance when Electromagnetic wave propagates the structure along different directions. The implementation of asymmetric transmission can get rid of the bulky ferrite and magnetic materials. This work provides an alternative method and expands application prospect for asymmetric transmission.
