Implementation of Half-Bridge Class D Voltage-Source Inverter for Domestic Medical Applications

摘要
This paper presents an implementation of a class D voltage-source inverter employing a half-bridge series-resonant circuit for domestic medical applications, focusing on the benefits of a magnetic resonant coupling and temperature time for nanoparticle heating process by magnetic field induction. The output power of the inverter can be controlled by the switching frequency with the fixed duty cycle. The switching frequency operates slightly higher than the resonant frequency at any power level to maintain the zero-voltage switching (ZVS) conditions under the high-quality factor. The results are conducted by computer simulation and experimental studies to confirm the validity of the proposed method from a lab prototype.
