Use of Swarm intelligence algorithms in Internet of Things-based systems: A Comprehensive review

This paper focuses on reviewing the recent work of Swarm Intelligent based algorithms in optimizing the problems of IoT systems. For this, a bibliometric analysis using different databases was done, to select the quality papers to highlight the latest development of Swarm based algorithms in IoT. This will help the researchers to gain an insight of the advancement in this area. To add novelty to the work, highlighted latest Swarm Intelligent algorithms along with its latest variants being used in IoT and the domains of IoT which can be solved using Swarm based algorithms. Researchers can use this study as a guide to identify the best SI-based algorithm being used for the IoT-based systems in the future.
