摘要
Nonlinear optical dynamics are of high importance in modern integrated photonics applications from laser amplifiers and modulators to quantum optics. Probing of optical properties with high spatial resolution is possible in ultrafast transmission electron microscopy (UTEM) [1], [2], harnessing the inelastic scattering of free electrons and light. Combining integrated photonics microresonators and TEM thereby boosts the underlying electron-light interaction [3], fostering the exploration of free electron quantum optics [4], [5] as well as a probing of nonlinear optical effects inherent to the microresonators [6] by electron beams.
