Efficient Waveguide Port Excitation for Symmetric Structures based on Conformal Non-uniform Mesh

In the full-wave numerical simulation, the use of the symmetry plane can effectively reduce the computational cost of the simulation when the model structure of the simulated device is symmetrical. In this paper, the method of imposing the symmetry plane based on conformal and non-uniform meshes when using the waveguide port is introduced, and combined with the transparent excitation source and appropriate boundary conditions, the simplified calculation of the structurally symmetric device is realized.
