摘要

A new methodology for the synthesis a C4-OH derivatives of tetracycline antibiotics of both isomers is developed in moderate yields with mild reaction conditions. The Lewis acid catalyzed for the synthesis of C4-O-glycosides also have been demonstrated via O-glycosylation.
