3D hierarchically electrode combined with DNA circuit strategy powered highly sensitive sensing devices

Development of high sensitivity and portable sensing devices for adenosine triphosphate (ATP) detection is extremely urgent. Self-powered biosensor platform requires no external power supply and is easy to realize portable device, and the key of its biological application is to improve the detection sensitivity. In this work, the 3D hierarchically electrode combined with the target-induced DNA cycle amplification strategy to achieve significant signal enhancement. As expected, the sensor has a good linear relationship over a wide test range, with detection limits as low as 0.03 pM. This design is expected to provide effective technologies and methods for the early diagnosis, clinical treatment and drug screening of cancer and other related major diseases, and greatly promote the development of the biomedical field.
