摘要

A new rotational band has been identified in {sup 103}Zr with a proposed 3/2{sup +} band head located at 26.8 keV. Quasiparticle rotor model calculations performed in the present work suggest a {nu}3/2{sup +}[411] dominant configuration for this band. The calculations also indicate that {sup 103}Zr has axial prolate deformation.
