Use of artificial intelligence in assistive devices

The quality of life (QOL) of people is greatly affected by the various diseases that affect them. Disorders such as Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, spinal cord Injuries, and tumor formation greatly affect the population. This chapter focuses on the overview of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the identification, management, and devising treatment regimens for people suffering from Parkinson's disorder, cerebral palsy, or spinal cord Injuries. In addition, AI has been applied to analyze and identify the results in tissue to identify tumors and the effects of different drugs in managing them. Timely sharing of information between patients and clinicians will, however, even more increase the efficiency of these systems and help the clinicians make the most of the technology and make an informed decision.
