摘要
One of the new and renewable energy generators that has enormous potential is a solar power plant. Indonesia has a solar energy potential of 4.80 kWh/m2/day, so competent human resources are needed to manage this large enough energy source. Training is one way to improve work competence in the field of renewable energy generators. Based on the results of an interview with one of the companies providing the PV mini-grid training, it is known that there are no modules that can assist training activities and the number of participants that can be accommodated is limited. Development of a massive open online course (MOOC)-based training e-module which is expected to assist the training process and reach a wider range of participants. The availability of modules is expected to optimize the implementation of training in accordance with work competency standards in the field of new and renewable energy generation. Online training was chosen because in the current era it is more effective and efficient, so the modules needed for training are in the form of electronic modules or e-modules. This research will compare developing of module MOOC-based that is in accordance with National Job Competency Standards. The training e-module developed contains material about solar power plants (On Grid System, Off Grid System and Hybrid System). Based on the trials conducted, it was obtained (1) the results of expert validation got a percentage of; (2) the results of product trials get a percentage of % with an average summative test score of 83.60; and (3) the results of the use test obtained a percentage of 89.12% with an average summative test score of 87.65. Based on these results it can be concluded that the MOOC-based PLTS hybrid system training e-module can be declared feasible to use.
