Load-adaptive quasi-zero stiffness vibration isolation via dual electromagnetic stiffness regulation

•A novel LEQVI for vibration isolation is proposed and systematically investigated.•The QZS is realized using the hardening stiffness to modulate the negative stiffness.•The rated load can be linearly and flexibly adjusted via current regulation.•The LEQVI can adapt to unknown loads without depriving QZS characteristic.•The LEQVI provides a novel paradigm for the load-sensitive problem of QZS isolators.
