Inner cell mass quality determines the developmental potential of euploid embryos

Analyze the correlation between the embryo quality on the day of biopsy, ploidy, and pregnancy outcomes in patients undergoing single frozen embryo transfer (FET). This retrospective study was performed at the CReATe Fertility Centre, Toronto, Canada and its Reproductive Genetics Laboratory, between January 2019-March 2023. 30845 blastocysts from 5579 cycles (3789 patients) were analyzed using high resolution NGS PGT-A (10Mb resolution for copy number variations and 30%-70% for mosaicism). Pregnancy outcome data from 4384 single-FETs were analyzed. The average age of ovum provider was 34.8±6.0 and sperm provider 39.4±6.1.
