摘要
Sentinel lymph node (SLN) mapping is a surgical technique with high accuracy in detecting metastases while limiting morbidity associated with full lymphadenectomy in endometrial cancer. SLN mapping requires the injection of dye into the cervix for the mapping of lymphatic drainage to the regional pelvic lymph nodes. Indocyanine green (ICG) has emerged as a dye with a very high SLN detection rate; however, iodinated contrast allergy has traditionally been viewed as a contraindication to ICG dye use. The objective of this study was to describe the use of ICG dye in a population of patients with iodinated contrast allergy undergoing minimally invasive surgical staging for clinically early-stage endometrial cancer.
