Food deserts are defined by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as low-income census tracts that lack access to affordable fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat milk, and other foods that make up the full range of a healthy diet. We investigated if there is an association between living in a food desert and gynecologic cancer outcomes, including overall survival.
